Whether you are moving in or out, or expecting a large delivery, you will be required to reserve the service elevator. In order to secure the elevator booking, the Resident will be required to complete an “Elevator Booking Agreement” and provide a security deposit. A copy of the Agreement can be viewed and downloaded from the Library on the website, or requested from Management.
All elevator bookings must be coordinated at least 48 hours in advance with the Security Team. This can be done by calling Security at 905-632-4142, or visiting them at the lobby desk.
NOTE: The elevator may be reserved for moves from 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday only. No moves are allowed on Sundays and Statutory Holidays.
The moving truck should be instructed to turn into the property at the entrance (off Pearl St.) and proceed along the back of the building to the loading doors. All items are to be brought in through the moving room and loaded onto the service elevator. After completion of your move, Security will inspect the elevator as well as the common area leading to your unit, and confirm that all boxes, etc., have been disposed of and no damage has been caused. Should any damage result from the move, you will be held responsible for all repairs.
